What is Clout Score?

Clout Score is your reputation and influence metric on Bleep!.
It measures the quality and engagement of your original content and directly determines your share of the daily redistribution pool. Key benefits:
  • Higher score -> larger slice of platform fees redistributed daily in ckBTC/BTC
  • Encourages meaningful posts instead of spam or reposts
  • Fee discounts on transactions
  • Your votes carry more weight when implementing new proposals

How to Build Clout Score

  1. Create original content
    Mint unique posts (images, videos, text) - the originality checker blocks duplicates.
  2. Drive engagement
    Earn likes, comments, and trades on your NFTs - each interaction adds weight.
  3. Own and hold NFTs
    The more NFTs you own (yours or others’), the stronger your score.
  4. Stay active & consistent
    Regular high-quality posting and community participation build history and bonuses.
Avoid: Low-effort spam, duplicate content, or inactive periods - these hurt your score.

Score Calculation

The algorithm combines:
  • Number of NFTs owned
  • Likes and comments received
  • Time-weighted activity (older consistent content favored)
  • Bonuses for thresholds (e.g., high like counts, post consistency)

  1. Calculate the weighted contribution for each NFT you own (loop from i = 0 to the number of NFTs you have):
    • timeWeight = NFT Creation Time ÷ Current Time
      → Older NFTs you own get slightly more weight (rewards long-term holding and early activity).
    • Engagement value = (likes × 2) × (comments × 3)
      → Comments are worth 3× more than likes because they show deeper interaction.
    • Weighted contribution of that NFT = timeWeight × 10 × engagement value
      → The 10 is a scaling factor, so the numbers are easier to read and compare.
    • Add up the weighted contribution from every NFT you own.
  2. Add likeBonus (extra points for high total like thresholds on your posts/NFTs):
    • ≥ 50 likes → +50
    • ≥ 10 likes → +25
  3. Add consistencyBonus (extra points for steady activity):
    • ≥ 10 NFTs → +200
    • ≥ 5 NFTs → +100
    • ≥ 3 NFTs → +50
Result:
Your total Clout Score is the sum of all weighted NFT contributions, any like bonuses, and any consistency bonuses. The CS calculation system ensures it rewards:
  • Creating original content
  • Getting real engagement (especially comments)
  • Owning NFTs (long-term investments)
  • Staying active and consistent
